The Epiphany Carol Service, Sunday 05 January 2020
The annual Epiphany Carol Service was held on Sunday 05 January 2020 in the Chapel of St Peter ad Vincula. The congregation joined in Epiphany carols and the Choir of the Chapels Royal, HM Tower of London, sang a number of seasonal pieces.
The Chapels Royal were delighted to hold this service in support of the charity Target Ovarian Cancer, whose Head of Community and Events Fundraising Chantelle Ojo described the valuable work of the charity and its achievements over the past year.
The Chaplain, the Reverend Canon Roger Hall MBE, welcomed the Lord Mayor of London William Russell, who was wearing the chain of office once worn by Sir Thomas More and which Henry VIII passed to the Corporation of London after More's execution on 06 July 1535. the photograph below shows Brigadier Andrew Jackson CBE, Resident Governor, HM Tower of London; William Russell, Lord Mayor of London; The Reverend Canon Roger Hall MBE, Chaplain, HM Tower of London; Yeoman Serjeant Shaun Huggins.
